University of Nebraska - Lincoln Nominated for Award
This award recognizes excellence in working with a singular event by a College or University in the United States or Canada. As detailed in a previous article, UNL served as the site for accommodation and dining for the USA National Games in the summer of 2010, playing host to over 3,700 coaches, athletes and officials making up 28,000 total bednights on campus. The City of Lincoln saw nearly 20,000 people in attendance to support the games and the athletes.
The award recipient will be announced at the Closing Gala of the ACCED-I Annual Conference in Orlando, FL to be held on Tuesday, March 29th. Kinetic Software congratulates UNL and their accomplishments and are pleased to have been a part of both their work with the Games as well as their most deserved nomination.
